We are excited to announce that Dr. Daniel Burnett has joined the practice full time.

Here is a brief biography on how he came to join us here at Boones Ferry Chiropractic and massage

My name is Dr. Dan Burnett and I have lived in Oregon my whole life, attending Tigard High school where I played football and baseball during my teenage years.  My first chiropractic experience was when I was 16. I had been involved in a serious automobile accident leaving me with injuries to my back and neck.  This accident ended up being a blessing in disguise as it was the precursor to my introduction to the diverse and effective field of chiropractic. Through chiropractic care, I was able to stop taking the painkillers and allow my body to heal so I could return to my physical exercises.

After high school, I attended Oregon State University (OSU) and graduated with Bachelors in Science, majoring in exercise and sports science with a minor in chemistry.  This degree really peaked my interest in sports conditioning where I could apply it to baseball, weight training, and jui jitsu.

With my continued participation in sports, I have been exposed to a variety of injuries. I have always been able to be treated with chiropractic care for said injuries with amazing success and no long-term impairment.

In 2009 I graduated from Western States Chiropractic College (WSCC) with a Doctorate in Chiropractic.  At WSCC, I tutored neuromuscular diagnosis and biomechanics, which was a valuable experience for me as it solidified my understanding on these topics.  During my schooling I completed the applied kinesiology curriculum, studying over 100 hours of the specialized muscle technique system.  I am excited not only to help people feel better with their daily activities, but also give them the information they need in order to stabilize their health and avoid chronic recurrent injuries and pain.

My immediate family consists of two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a Chinese Shar Pei, who I love to take for walks in the mountains and the beach.  In the winter I like to snow shoe at Mt. Hood and in the summer I enjoy camping and white water rafting.

I am very excited as I begin my career, and I am privileged to become a doctor of chiropractic at Boones Ferry Chiropractic and Massage.
